If there was any hope DeAngelo Williams would play Sunday, it was lost when the Panthers running back tweeted a photo of himself rocking a pink cast.

On Monday, Coach Rivera described the injury as a sore foot, but I suspect it may be more severe than that.
It’s only fitting that DeAngelo, who colored his hair pink in memory of his mother who died from breast cancer, would continue to honor her and breast cancer awareness month even through injury.
The Panthers have not announced how long they expect Williams will be sidelined.
