Christian McCaffrey returned to the field for the first time since week two, Sunday against the Chiefs. The Panthers’ all-pro running back picked up where he left off – finishing with 151 all purpose yards and one touchdown. But his return may be short-lived according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport – who tweeted McCaffrey may miss more time after injuring his shoulder.
No word yet from the Panthers about the report.
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule confirmed Christian McCaffrey hurt his shoulder on the last drive of Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. He wouldn’t go into detail about the extent of the injury and said he’d list him as day-to-day.
